EXPERIENCE THE WORLD OF BRUEGEL

This is a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of contemporary artists and designers who catapult Bruegel to the 21st century. Bruegel ‘composed’ his landscape paintings with elements from the Pajottenland countryside.
This exhibition looks at the landscape with Bruegel’s eye. A cycling and walking tour connects 12 unique installations. The tour starts and ends at two buildings that were painted by Bruegel: the Church of Saint Anne-Pede, featured in Bruegel’s “The Parable of the Blind,” and the watermill of Saint Gertrudis-Pede, which is depicted in “the Magpie on the Gallows.”
